Mohsina Kidwai

On 8th April 2026, Mohsina Kidwai, veteran Congress leader and former Union Minister, passed away in Noida at the age of 94 due to age-related ailments.

She served as a Union Minister in the government of Rajiv Gandhi, handling key portfolios.
She was a member of both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha during her political career.
Kidwai also held important organisational roles in the Indian National Congress, including membership in the Congress Working Committee and Central Election Committee.
