India Sends Medical Aid to Tanzania

On 20th April 2026, India delivered two tonnes of life-saving medical supplies to Shree Hindu Mandal Hospital at Dar es Salaam in Tanzania.

It included equipment such as oxygen concentrators, suction units, oximeters, microscopes, and stethoscopes.
Medical consumables like inhalers, syringes, gloves, bandages, and wheelchairs were also provided.
The aid aims to strengthen diagnostic capacity, treatment, and patient care services at the hospital.
The initiative reflects India’s continued humanitarian outreach and healthcare cooperation with Tanzania.
It also highlights strong bilateral ties and development partnership between the two countries.
