India Sends Medical Aid to Tanzania

On 20th April 2026, India delivered two tonnes of life-saving medical supplies to Shree Hindu Mandal Hospital at Dar es Salaam in Tanzania.

  • It included equipment such as oxygen concentrators, suction units, oximeters, microscopes, and stethoscopes.
  • Medical consumables like inhalers, syringes, gloves, bandages, and wheelchairs were also provided.
  • The aid aims to strengthen diagnostic capacity, treatment, and patient care services at the hospital.
