‘Operation Delta Hunt’

On 2nd June 2026, Gujarat Police launched Operation Delta Hunt, a statewide crackdown against illegal infiltrators residing in Gujarat.

• Under the operation, 362 Bangladeshi nationals living illegally in Gujarat have been arrested, while more than 782 suspected individuals are currently being questioned.
• The operation was launched against individuals considered a potential threat to national security.
• Using technology and human intelligence, police initiated investigations into suspected individuals as well as local agents and facilitators allegedly involved in obtaining forged documents.
