Five New Non-Permanent Members Elected to UNSC

On 3rd June 2026, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) elected Austria, Portugal, Trinidad and Tobago, Kyrgyzstan and Zimbabwe as non-permanent members of the United Nations Security Council for a two-year term beginning 1 January 2027.
