National Campaign on Entrepreneurship-II under DAY-NRLM

On 21st August 2026, the Ministry of Rural Development launched the National Campaign on Entrepreneurship-II under Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana–National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM) for three more months to promote rural women’s entrepreneurship.

- Campaign Period: The campaign will run from 21 August to 21 November 2026.
- Objective: It aims to strengthen entrepreneurship among Self Help Group (SHG) women.
- Lakhpati Didi: The campaign supports the goal of creating six crore Lakhpati Didis.
- Livelihoods: Focus areas include both farm and non-farm livelihood activities.
- Enterprise Formalisation: The campaign will help rural enterprises become formally registered and organised.
- Digital Adoption: It will promote digital tools and e-commerce platforms among SHG members.
- Producer Enterprises: The campaign will strengthen Producer Groups and Producer Enterprises.
- Training: 5 lakh SHG women will receive entrepreneurship and livelihood training.
