Quad Holds Tabletop Exercise on Indo-Pacific Logistics
- 14 Sep 2026
In September 2026, Australia, India, Japan and the United States conducted a Tabletop Exercise (TTX) in Tokyo, Japan to advance the Quad Indo-Pacific Logistics Network (IPLN) to enhance civilian response efforts across the region.
- The exercise focused on strengthening disaster response capabilities across the Indo-Pacific.
- It was hosted by Japan’s Ministry of Defense on September 3-4, 2026.
- It focused on natural disaster response and humanitarian assistance.
- The partners explored better use of their logistics capabilities and interoperability.
- Significant progress was made towards developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for IPLN.
- The SOPs will provide an institutional framework for operationalising the logistics network.
