Dronathon-2026

On 14th September 2026, Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit, Vice Chief of the Air Staff, inaugurated the first Indian Air Force Dronathon 2026 at the Pokhran Field Firing Range in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.

• The three-day event is being held from 14–16 September 2026.
• More than 20 defence companies, start-ups, MSMEs, Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs) and innovators are participating.
• Dronathon 2026 is aimed at evaluating emerging unmanned aerial systems and technologies under realistic operational conditions.
• Demonstrations cover capabilities in surveillance, reconnaissance, autonomous operations and swarm technologies.
