Maharashtra Cabinet Decisions

On 15th September 2026, the Maharashtra Cabinet, chaired by the Chief Minister, approved several policy measures.

• Soft loans will help cooperative sugar mills clear pending Fair and Remunerative Price (FRP) dues.
• The loans cover dues for the 2025–26 crushing season.
• They will also support mill operations during the 2026–27 season.
• The move aims to provide relief to sugarcane farmers and cooperative mills.
• The Cabinet approved the Maharashtra Technical Assistance Cell (Maha-TAC).
• Maha-TAC will evaluate 25 major state policies and 25 welfare schemes.
