Pulitzer winner Indian Photojournalist Danish Siddiqui Passes Away

• Noted Indian photojournalist Danish Siddiqui was killed on 16^th July 2021 during a clash between the Afghan Special Forces and Taliban attackers in Spin Boldak district, which has a contentious international border crossing between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
• Siddiqui was working for Reuters – a news agency.
• In 2018, he became the first Indian alongside colleague Adnan Abidi to win the Pulitzer Prize for Feature Photography as part of the Photography staff of Reuters for documenting the Rohingya Refugee Crisis.
