On 6th February, 2024, Prime Minister launched the 'India Energy Week 2024' in Goa, highlighting India's significant strides in energy investment for ensuring accessible energy.

 - Venue and Environment: PM praised Goa as a vibrant setting for the event, emphasizing its suitability for discussions on sustainability and environmental consciousness. He expressed optimism that foreign delegates attending the event will cherish their experience in Goa.
 - India's Energy Landscape: PM underscored India's pivotal role as the world's third-largest consumer of energy, oil, and LPG, along with being the fourth-largest importer and refiner of LNG. He highlighted the escalating demand for Electric Vehicles (EVs) in the nation.
 - Budget Allocation: The Prime Minister noted the allocation of Rs 11 lakh crore in the recent budget for infrastructure, with a significant portion earmarked for the energy sector.
 - Focus on Startups: India Energy Week 2024 aims to promote and integrate startups into the energy value chain, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
 - The event anticipates participation from 17 Energy Ministers, over 35,000 attendees, and 900 exhibitors.
