On 16th March, Union Minister laid foundation stone for 'Centre for Preservation and Promotion of Tribal Culture & Heritage' in Jharkhand.

• Initiative aims to preserve and showcase tribal legacy, promoting cultural heritage.
• Ministry of Tribal Affairs allocates Rs. 10 crores for the project's establishment.
• Centre to exhibit physical and intangible tribal culture, serving as knowledge hub for tribal development.
• Future plans include development as a live center for artisans and tourism.
• Minister inaugurated renovated National Unique Tribal Museum, e-Library, and ST Girls’ hostel in New Delhi.
• Acknowledges importance of preserving tribal artifacts and rare books at Bharatiya Adim Jati Sevak Sanghathan (BAJSS) museum.
