National Credit Framework

On 10th April, CBSE initiated pilot of National Credit Framework from 2024-25 to integrate education levels, allowing students to accumulate credits.
- Pilot of National Credit Framework (NCF) for classes 6, 9, and 11 to begin in 2024-25 academic session.
- NCF aims for seamless integration of school, higher, and vocational education as per NEP 2020.
- CBSE develops draft guidelines for NCF implementation and invites affiliate schools for pilot.
- Students can earn credits from various activities including classroom teaching, projects, sports, etc.
- Credits earned will be stored in Academic Bank of Credit (ABC) linked with student's APAAR ID and DigiLocker for future reference.
