• The technology, approved by ICC for T20 and 50-over competitions, combines polymer fibre with natural turf to ensure resilience and even bounce, easing pressure on groundstaff.
• The 'Universal' machine used in Dharamshala will be deployed in Ahmedabad and Mumbai for future installations, following its success in the UK's cricket grounds.
