Five IPS Officers Promoted to Joint Directors

On 6th May 2024, Five IPS officers, including S Veeresh Prabhu, appointed as joint directors in CBI by ACC. Appointments for tenures up to 2027.

• S Veeresh Prabhu, Rajiv Ranjan, Sumedha Dwevedi, Vijayendra Bidari, and Sharada Raut appointed.
• Veeresh Prabhu appointed for tenure up to October 13, 2027.
• Rajiv Ranjan's tenure extends up to May 30, 2026.
• Appointment approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
• Promotion reflects trust in officers' capabilities for leadership roles.
• Move aims to strengthen CBI's investigative capabilities with experienced leadership.
