- The Sanchar Saathi Mobile App empowers users to combat telecom fraud, verify mobile handset authenticity, and block lost or stolen devices on both Android and iOS platforms.
- National Broadband Mission (NBM) 2.0 aims to extend optical fiber connectivity to 270,000 villages, improve broadband speeds to 100 Mbps, and ensure 30% sustainable energy use for mobile towers by 2030.
- The initiative also plans to connect 90% of key institutions like schools and healthcare centers while reducing Right of Way application disposal time to 30 days by 2030.
- The introduction of Intra Circle Roaming at 27,000 DBN-funded 4G towers will provide seamless connectivity in over 35,000 villages, benefiting rural and remote regions.
