India and UK Hold 17th Foreign Office Consultations

On 3rd June 2025, India and the United Kingdom held their 17th Foreign Office Consultations (FOC) in New Delhi, launching a new Strategic Exports and Technology Cooperation Dialogue (SETCD) to boost high-tech and strategic partnerships.

- Trade Achievements: Both sides welcomed the India–UK Free Trade Agreement and the Double Contribution Convention.

- Geopolitical Dialogue: They discussed key global issues, including Russia–Ukraine, Indo-Pacific, and West Asia.
- Anti-Terrorism Support: India acknowledged the UK’s solidarity in the fight against terrorism.
- Future Engagement: The next round of FOC will be held in London in 2026.
