India’s Financial Support for India–Sri Lanka Ferry Service

On 13th June 2025, the Indian Government extended financial assistance for one more year to support the passenger ferry service between Nagapattinam (India) and Kankesanthurai (Sri Lanka), reaffirming its commitment to regional connectivity and strengthening people-to-people ties with Sri Lanka.
