Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat

The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports launched a national youth-led movement titled ‘Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat’ at the Youth Spiritual Summit held on the banks of the Ganga from July 19–20.

Aimed at mobilising India’s youth—who constitute over 65% of the population—the initiative seeks to combat drug addiction and drive the vision of a developed, drug-free India.
Set in a spiritually resonant environment, the summit combines cultural engagement with policy dialogue, drawing inspiration from Swami Vivekananda’s ideals of self-discipline and national service.
The summit’s core outcome, the Kashi Declaration, will present a youth-led action roadmap with defined targets, timelines and accountability mechanisms.
