Shailesh Jejurikar Named New P&G CEO

On 30th July 2025, Procter & Gamble (P&G) announced that Indian-origin executive Shailesh Jejurikar will take over as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2026.

Shailesh Jejurikar, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer, will become the first Indian-origin CEO of the global consumer goods giant from the start of 2026.
Jejurikar, 58, brings over three decades of experience at P&G, having joined the company in 1989 and serving in global leadership roles since 2014.
His appointment comes with a nomination to the Board of Directors, with shareholders set to vote on his directorship at the annual meeting in October 2025.
Current CEO Jon Moeller will step down from the role but continue as Executive Chairman of the Board, offering strategic guidance to Jejurikar and the leadership team.
