Shailesh Jejurikar Named New P&G CEO

On 30th July 2025, Procter & Gamble (P&G) announced that Indian-origin executive Shailesh Jejurikar will take over as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2026.
- Shailesh Jejurikar, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer, will become the first Indian-origin CEO of the global consumer goods giant from the start of 2026.
- Jejurikar, 58, brings over three decades of experience at P&G, having joined the company in 1989 and serving in global leadership roles since 2014.
- His appointment comes with a nomination to the Board of Directors, with shareholders set to vote on his directorship at the annual meeting in October 2025.
- Current CEO Jon Moeller will step down from the role but continue as Executive Chairman of the Board, offering strategic guidance to Jejurikar and the leadership team.
