Ayush Ministry Joins Women’s Health Campaign

On 17th September 2025, the Ministry of Ayush will participate in the launch of the ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan’, a national campaign by the Health and Family Welfare Ministry to promote women’s health across India.

• The Ministry of Ayush, in collaboration with State and Union Territory administrations, Ayush research institutions, NGOs, industries, associations, and cooperative societies, will conduct a range of health activities for women.
• The campaign will include the distribution of nutrition kits and home remedies, alongside awareness drives highlighting the health benefits of medicinal plants, herbal teas, and traditional remedies for women’s well-being.
• Over its 16-day duration, the initiative will host extensive health check-ups and screening camps for non-communicable diseases, cancers, anaemia, tuberculosis, and sickle cell disease, while also offering maternal and child healthcare services.
