Advertising Legend Piyush Pandey Passes Away

On 24th October 2025, renowned advertising icon and Padma Shri awardee Piyush Pandey passed away, leaving behind an enduring legacy that transformed the face of Indian advertising.

Piyush Pandey began his career in 1982 with Ogilvy & Mather India (now Ogilvy India), starting as a trainee account executive before moving to the creative department, where his ideas revolutionized Indian advertising.
Known for his storytelling brilliance, Pandey created some of India’s most memorable ad campaigns, including Asian Paints’ “Har Khushi Mein Rang Laaye”, Cadbury’s “Kuch Khaas Hai”, and Fevicol’s iconic “Egg” commercial, which became a cultural phenomenon.
