India-Venezuela Hold Foreign Office Consultations

On 26th November 2025, India and Venezuela held the fifth round of Foreign Office Consultations (FOC), co-chaired by Ministry of External Affairs, and Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

Strengthening Bilateral Dialogue: Both sides reviewed the status of the relationship and reaffirmed their commitment to expanding cooperation across priority sectors.
Areas of Cooperation: Discussions covered trade, health and pharmaceuticals, digital technologies, agriculture, development partnership, culture, and people-to-people ties.
Multilateral Coordination: India and Venezuela agreed to work closely in regional and international forums on issues of mutual interest.
Geopolitical Discussions: Delegations exchanged views on global and regional developments, emphasising the importance of structured dialogue.
