NTH–DMSRDE Sign MoU to Strengthen Collaboration

On 28th December 2025, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the National Test House (NTH) and the Defence Materials and Stores Research and Development Establishment (DMSRDE) to enhance cooperation in research, testing and training.

The collaboration aims to promote knowledge sharing, skill development and capacity building among scientific and technical personnel.
The MoU facilitates collaborative research and testing activities, sharing of laboratory and instrumentation facilities, and cooperation in areas of national importance.
It also enables the exchange of scientific and technical expertise between the two organisations.
NTH functions under the Department of Consumer Affairs and provides testing, inspection and quality assurance services for industrial and consumer products as per national and international standards.
DMSRDE is a laboratory of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and specialises in R&D of non-metallic defence materials.
Its research areas include polymers, composites, elastomers, ceramics, technical textiles, fuels, lubricants and speciality materials critical for defence applications.
