ASI Enables Online Ticket Booking for 170+ Monuments on ONDC
- 07 Jan 2026
On 7th January 2026, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) enabled online ticket booking for over 170 centrally protected monuments and museums through the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC).
- The Ministry of Culture said the integration places ASI’s ticketing system on an open, interoperable digital network, allowing citizens and tourists to book tickets via multiple ONDC-enabled applications.
- The move improves accessibility, convenience and transparency, while strengthening the delivery of public services through digital governance.
- Visitors can continue to avail existing ticket discounts when booking through ONDC platforms: ₹5 for Indian visitors and ₹50 for foreign nationals.
- Online booking enables tourists to bypass physical ticket counters, ensuring faster and smoother entry at monuments and museums.
