Tri-Services Future Warfare Course Begins in New Delhi

On 2nd Feb 2026, the third edition of the Tri-Services Future Warfare Course commenced in New Delhi, with a three-week programme designed to prepare officers for the complexities of modern and future warfare.

The course is conducted under the aegis of Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff in partnership with the Centre for Joint Warfare Studies.
It features an enhanced curriculum focusing on how emerging technologies are transforming warfighting, along with domain-specific developments in military operations.
Key components include in-depth discussions, practical demonstrations of new technologies, and visits to strategically important institutions linked to defence capabilities.
Participants include officers from the Army, Navy and Air Force, as well as representatives from the defence industry, including startups, MSMEs, DPSUs and private sector firms.
The programme aims to align operational priorities of the Armed Forces with indigenous defence industry capabilities, encouraging open dialogue on futuristic warfare.
