Tri-Services Future Warfare Course Begins in New Delhi

On 2nd Feb 2026, the third edition of the Tri-Services Future Warfare Course commenced in New Delhi, with a three-week programme designed to prepare officers for the complexities of modern and future warfare.
- The course is conducted under the aegis of Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff in partnership with the Centre for Joint Warfare Studies.
- It features an enhanced curriculum focusing on how emerging technologies are transforming warfighting, along with domain-specific developments in military operations.
- Key components include in-depth discussions, practical demonstrations of new technologies, and visits to strategically important institutions linked to defence capabilities.
- Participants include officers from the Army, Navy and Air Force, as well as representatives from the defence industry, including startups, MSMEs, DPSUs and private sector firms.
- The programme aims to align operational priorities of the Armed Forces with indigenous defence industry capabilities, encouraging open dialogue on futuristic warfare.
