Bharat Tex 2026 Global Textile Event

On 11th March 2026, Union Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh launched Bharat Tex 2026.

  • Bharat Tex is India’s flagship global textile and apparel event.
  • The event will be held from July 14 to July 17, 2026.
  • It will take place at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
  • The exhibition will showcase the entire textile value chain.
  • Sectors include fibre, yarn, fabrics, garments and technical textiles.
  • Sustainable textile innovations will also be highlighted at the event.
  • More than 3,500 business exhibitors are expected to participate.
  • Over 7,000 international buyers from 140 countries are expected.
  • Around 1.3 lakh trade visitors may attend the event.
  • The initiative aims to position India as a global textile sourcing hub.
  • It supports the Prime Minister’s 5F vision for the textile sector.
  • The 5F vision covers Farm to Fibre, Fibre to Factory, Factory to Fashion.
  • The final stage of the vision is Fashion to Foreign markets.
