New ‘People of India’ Postcard Released

On 17th April 2026, Department of Posts released a new postcard on “People of India” at the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya, in collaboration with the Prime Ministers’ Museum and Library (PMML) in New Delhi.

• The release is part of the philatelic exhibition “Ek Bharat, Shreshth Bharat: Celebrating India’s Unity and Democracy through Postage Stamps.”
• The initiative aims to promote awareness about India’s cultural diversity and democratic heritage.
• Exhibition themes include Tribal Resistance, Women of Freedom, Festivals of India, and The People of India.
