PM Launches Development Projects in Telangana

On 10th May 2026, PM dedicated multiple development projects worth around ₹9,400 crore in Telangana.

The projects aim to strengthen infrastructure, manufacturing capacity and seamless connectivity in the state while generating large-scale employment opportunities.
The Prime Minister highlighted the development of the Zaheerabad Industrial Area, where an Industrial Smart City with modern infrastructure, power supply and ICT networks will be developed to attract global investors.
Industries related to automobiles, machinery and food processing are expected to benefit workers and farmers in the region.
PM Modi also highlighted the importance of the PM MITRA Park in Warangal, stating that it would boost India’s textile sector and generate employment, especially for women.
Industries in the PM MITRA Park will receive benefits under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme.
The Prime Minister stated that nearly ₹1.75 lakh crore has been allocated for National Highway development, significantly expanding Telangana’s highway network.
PM Modi also inaugurated sections of the Kazipet Vijayawada Multi Tracking Project and dedicated the Kazipet Rail Under Bypass Line to the nation.
