On 8th June 2026, Union Minister for Commerce and Industry launched the BHAVYA Portal in New Delhi to operationalise the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana (BHAVYA).

  • BHAVYA is a flagship Central Government scheme aimed at developing 100 investment-ready, world-class industrial parks across India over a period of six years.
  • The scheme was approved by the Union Cabinet with an outlay of ₹33,660 crore to promote industrialisation, manufacturing growth and large-scale employment generation.
  • The parks will be developed in partnership with state governments, with land provided by states and infrastructure support facilitated through the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation under a 51:49 model.
  • The industrial parks will offer plug-and-play infrastructure, including assured power and water supply, road and rail connectivity, digital single-window clearances and worker-support facilities.
