DRDO Achieves Netra AEW&C Clearance

On 25th June 2026, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) achieved Final Operational Clearance (FOC) for the indigenously developed ‘Netra’ Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) system, marking a major milestone in India's defence self-reliance and airborne surveillance capabilities.
