Keiko Fujimori Elected President of Peru

On 3 July 2026, Conservative politician Keiko Fujimori was declared the winner of Peru's presidential election.

• Keiko Fujimori won the presidential runoff election with 50.1% of votes, narrowly defeating Roberto Sanchez, who secured 49.8% of votes.
• She was contesting the presidency for the fourth time and is set to become Peru's ninth President in the last ten years.
