India Medical Device 2026 – CEO Roundtable

On 8th August 2026, Union Minister J.P. Nadda chaired a CEO roundtable at India Medical Device 2026 in New Delhi, bringing together policymakers and over 40 CEOs from global and domestic medical technology companies and MSMEs.

The roundtable focused on boosting innovation and investment, strengthening domestic medical device manufacturing and expanding India’s global MedTech presence.
Also released the knowledge paper “AI in MedTech: Revolutionizing Healthcare Through Artificial Intelligence”, which outlines a roadmap for responsible AI adoption in healthcare.
The report identified five priorities for AI-enabled MedTech, including AI-ready data and evidence, lifecycle-based regulation, and suitable procurement and reimbursement mechanisms.
