MeitY’s GENESIS EIR 3.0

In August 2026, MeitY Startup Hub launched the third cohort of GENESIS Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) to support technology-driven startups.

The programme supports aspiring entrepreneurs, innovators, researchers, students and early-stage startup founders.
Selected innovators will receive financial assistance of up to ₹10 lakh through participating GENESIS incubators.
Support includes incubation, mentorship, prototyping, MVP development, technology validation and commercialisation.
The programme focuses on AI/ML, IoT, semiconductors, cybersecurity, blockchain, quantum technologies and immersive technologies.
Eligible innovations must be at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 1–4, covering ideation to early validation.
