First Successful Climb of 20 Unclimbed Peaks in Ladakh

On September 25, 2026, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh welcomed the NIMAS expedition team, which achieved the first-ever successful summit of 20 unclimbed peaks above 6,000 meters in Ladakh.

- Historic Expedition: The team recorded the first successful summit of 20 unclimbed peaks in just 23 days; these peaks are located in the Chamser-Lungser, Gyama Nala, and Chokula regions of the Ladakh Range.
