On 26th March, a report on developing GIFT IFSC as 'Global Finance and Accounting Hub' was submitted to IFSCA Chairperson.

• Ministry of Finance notification includes bookkeeping, accounting, taxation, and financial crime compliance as financial services under IFSCA Act, 2019.
• Committee, chaired by President of ICAI, includes experts from industry, academia, and government.
• Recommendations include comprehensive regulatory regime and measures for enhancing skills and competencies of workforce.
• GIFT IFSC has potential to become a global hub for finance, accounting, taxation, and compliance services, creating employment opportunities.
