On 9th April, Expression of Interest (EoI) launched for startups working in Battery Recycling Technologies for EVs.

• EU and India collaborate to promote startup collaboration in Battery Recycling Technologies for Electric Vehicles (EVs) under Trade and Technology Council, fostering innovation and sustainable economic relations.

• Matchmaking event aims to enhance cooperation between European and Indian SMEs/startups in clean and green technologies sector.
• Initiative under India-EU Trade & Technology Council (TTC) to advance circularity of rare materials and transition towards carbon neutrality.
• Twelve innovators, six each from India and the EU, to pitch innovative solutions during Matchmaking Event in June 2024.
• Opportunity for startups to establish strategic alliances, explore trade avenues, and deepen customer relations in EV Battery Recycling industry.
