India Approves Sixth Semiconductor Plant in Uttar Pradesh

On 14th May 2025, the Union Cabinet approved a new semiconductor manufacturing unit in Uttar Pradesh’s YEIDA region, marking a significant step in India’s push for self-reliance in chip production.
