‘Yoga Bandhan’

On 17th June 2025, the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY), under the Ministry of Ayush, inaugurated ‘Yoga Bandhan’ in New Delhi as part of the 10 Signature Events leading up to International Day of Yoga 2025.

• The ‘Yoga Bandhan’ initiative brought together yoga ambassadors from 15 countries, including practitioners, researchers, authors, and wellness experts, to promote cross-cultural collaboration and shared learning through yoga.
• The event was held at the MDNIY campus in Delhi and aimed to reinforce institution-to-institution partnerships and position India as a global leader in yoga diplomacy.
