India-Saudi Arabia Defence Cooperation Meeting

On 28th August 2025, the 7th meeting of the India-Saudi Arabia Joint Committee on Defence Cooperation (JCDC) was held, with both countries agreeing to expand collaboration in training, industrial partnerships, maritime security, and military exercises.

- Expanded Cooperation: Discussions included training capabilities, cyber security, information technology, disaster management, and tactical communication.
- Training & Industrial Partnerships: India offered training for Saudi armed forces personnel and highlighted opportunities under its defence manufacturing sector and the ‘Make in India’ initiative. Both sides explored joint production and industrial collaboration.
- Staff Talks: The co-chairs noted the successful conduct of Navy and Army Staff Talks in 2025 and agreed to continue such exchanges.
