Mohammed Siraj Named ICC Player of the Month

On 15th September 2025, Indian fast bowler Mohammed Siraj was named ICC Men’s Player of the Month for August 2025 following his match-winning performance in the final Test against England at The Oval, which helped India level the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy series 2-2.

Siraj delivered a remarkable performance in the decisive Test, taking nine wickets at an average of 21.11 across both innings, including a five-wicket haul in the second innings.
He bowled a total of 46 overs in the match and was adjudged Player of the Match for his match-turning contributions.
The right-arm pacer edged out strong competition from New Zealand’s Matt Henry and West Indies’ Jayden Seales to win the monthly ICC honour.
