- Zubeen Garg died in Singapore due to a drowning accident while attending the North East Festival, where he was scheduled to perform as part of his cultural engagements.
- He rose to national prominence with the Bollywood song “Ya Ali” from the 2006 film Gangster, which showcased his exceptional musical talent to a wider audience.
- Throughout his career, Zubeen Garg recorded over 38,000 songs in 40 different languages, establishing himself as a versatile singer, lyricist, musician, film-maker, and actor.
