On 22nd September 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the developmental works of the Mata Tripura Sundari Temple under the Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual, Heritage Augmentation Drive (PRASHAD) scheme, marking a new chapter in Tripura’s cultural and spiritual heritage.
