Over 120 Nations Attend 8th ISA Assembly

On 28th October 2025, the Eighth Session of the International Solar Alliance (ISA) Assembly was inaugurated by President Droupadi Murmu in New Delhi, with participation from representatives of more than 120 countries, marking a significant step toward advancing global solar cooperation and clean energy transformation.

Union Minister of New and Renewable Energy Ministry announced that over 120 countries participated physically in the opening plenary of the Eighth ISA Assembly, reflecting growing global commitment to the alliance’s vision of a sustainable solar-powered future.
The ISA member countries collectively account for 40% of the world’s total solar energy capacity, underscoring the alliance’s expanding influence in accelerating renewable energy adoption worldwide.
