DDP to Showcase Defence Innovation at IITF

On 14 November 2025, the Department of Defence Production (DDP) announced that it will establish a dedicated pavilion at the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF), to be held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from November 14 to 27, highlighting India’s rapid progress in indigenous defence manufacturing under Aatmanirbhar Bharat.

The DDP pavilion will highlight the transformation brought about by the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative by showcasing India’s expanding capabilities, technological advancement and increasing self-reliance in the defence manufacturing ecosystem.
The pavilion will feature an extensive display of state-of-the-art defence products, breakthrough technologies and advanced innovations across land systems, naval platforms, aerospace equipment and a broad range of emerging defence technologies.
All 16 Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs) will participate to present their latest indigenous manufacturing achievements and ongoing efforts to reduce reliance on defence imports.
Several defence start-ups supported under the Innovations for Defence Excellence (iDEX) programme will exhibit prototypes, disruptive technologies and futuristic solutions developed to address modern operational requirements of the armed forces.
