India Re-Elected to Codex Executive Committee

On 18th November 2025, India was unanimously re-elected to the Codex Executive Committee (CCEXEC) for the Asia region during the 48th Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC48) session, reaffirming its leadership role in global food standards.

The mandate will extend until CAC50 in 2027, ensuring India continues representing the technical and trade priorities of the Asian continent.
