Tex-RAMPS Scheme

On 27th November 2025, the Union government approved the Textiles Focused Research, Assessment, Monitoring, Planning and Start-up (Tex-RAMPS) Scheme with an outlay of ₹305 crore to boost research, innovation, sustainability, and competitiveness in India’s textiles sector.

  • The scheme will be implemented from 2025-26 to 2030-31 and aims to future-proof the textiles and apparel ecosystem by strengthening research systems, data capabilities, innovation support, and capacity development.
