• The day marks the birth anniversary of Chaudhary Charan Singh, who is remembered for his deep understanding of rural challenges and his unwavering advocacy for agrarian reforms and farmer-centric policies.
• Union Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan paid tributes to Chaudhary Charan Singh and stated that his ideas and vision continue to remain relevant in India’s journey towards becoming a developed and self-reliant nation.
