‘School Chalen Hum’ Campaign

On 1st April 2026, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister launched the four-day ‘School Chalen Hum’ campaign from Bhopal, aiming to ensure universal enrollment, reduce dropouts, and strengthen access to quality education across the state.

  • The drive began from Bhopal for the new academic session.
  • The campaign runs from April 1 to April 4.
  • It aims to ensure universal school enrollment.
  • Focus is on “no child left behind” across the state.
  • Key Features of the Campaign:
    • Covers 55 districts and over 50,000 villages.
    • Linked with the ‘Pravesh Utsav’ (admission festival).
    • Distribution of 5.6 crore textbooks initiated.
    • Includes foundational literacy workbooks and bridge courses.
    • Aligns with National Education Policy 2020.
