NCC Launches Cyber Security Training Programme

On 13th April 2026, National Cadet Corps launched a nationwide Cyber Security Capacity Building Programme in collaboration with National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology.

  • The initiative aims to enhance cyber awareness, digital hygiene, and defence skills among NCC cadets.
  • The programme will be conducted in two stages- an online Cyber Security Awareness module and an advanced Cyber Defender Programme.
  • The first stage is a 15-hour online course covering digital literacy, safe internet practices, and cyber threats.
  • The second stage is a 60-hour offline training with hands-on simulations and practical exposure to cyber tools.
  • Selected cadets will be trained to identify and respond effectively to cyber threats.
  • The initiative aims to create NCC Cyber Cadets who will promote digital safety at the grassroots level.
