India Pharma 2026 Begins in New Delhi

On 13th April 2026, the 9th edition of India Pharma 2026, organised by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, commenced in New Delhi to strengthen India’s pharmaceutical sector.

The event is being held in collaboration with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance.
It focuses on innovation, self-reliance, AI in drug discovery, and next-generation technologies in life sciences.
The government is promoting innovation through initiatives like the Biopharma Shakti programme and Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme.
The event emphasises transitioning from “pharmacy of the world” to a global innovation hub.
